INDIVIDUAL TECHNICAL TRAINING
Join the Elk Grove Soccer Individual Technical Training (ITT) Series. The ITT Series will focus on the player’s technical and cognitive skills. Led by our Boys and Girls Director, Benjamin Ormsby, the purpose of the series is to address the players passing ability on the ground, in the air, striking technique, first touch control out of the air, off the bounce and from the floor, as well as speed, agility and coordination. Keep your game moving forward with these high intensity, physically demanding and fun sessions.
Why does my child need this type of training?
· The technical part of soccer is so vital to success in the game, deliberate and focused training improves the players technique and therefore their speed of play
What is Cognitive Skills Training, and why does my child need this?
· Instead of just going through the motions, we add over-loads to the exercises, not only challenging the players physically but mentally as well. Soccer players need to think fast and be able to process a lot of information quickly when in the game. Training the players cognitive skills increases the players awareness and reaction time as well as their technical ability.
